5" long nicely designed tin litho cycle comes in original box along w/instruction folder. c. 1948. Box is complete w/remnants of original store price sticker and has .75" split to one end flap seam. Box has lt. even aging and still displays well. VG/Fine. The detailed instruction folder describes the toy as "The Dare-Devil Racer On Motorbike." Folded as issued w/some small tears/chips. VG/Fine. This cycle came in three color varieties and this is green. Comes w/original "Schuco" key. Has mechanism allowing seven different programmable routes via metal knob on bars. Routes are oval, 90° angle, wavy cross, three-leaf clover, star, square and circle. Slightest wear w/some hairline cracks and warping to original rubber tires. Mechanism works, but due to tire issues does not move. Toy is o/w Exc. Great design.
