Item Description
Large 11x14” with cover dedicated to McKinley as President and “Hon. Theodore Roosevelt, Governor Of The State Of New York.” Great front cover image of illustrated factory belching “Prosperity” smoke combined with photo of four workmen in overalls and with lunch pails titled “Full ‘Dinner Pail’ Quartette.” Four pages. Numerous, but small, edge tears. 15 small archival tape repairs on interior. From a second example, the text of five verses (on inside back cover) were cut and then mounted on inside front cover of this example surrounding verse 1 and the “Chorus” to be spoken by “Mrs. Bryan” (Oh Dear, Oh Dear Me/Why Don’t They Hear Me” etc.) Because of the mounted paper at left and right margins the front cover extends .5” beyond the back cover when closed. Overall very good but with clean (except 1” dia. moisture spot upper right) and outstanding front cover image. Rare.`
