c.1950s. 5.75x11.75x1.75” deep box has wraparound lid art of Davy w/gun drawn in front of Alamo. Box has edge wear and lt. creasing. Lid has one corner seam split. VG/Fine. Leather gun belt w/name on back has “Davy Crockett Old Betsy” metal buckle. Fringed pocket w/studs has “Davy Crockett” name. Holds 7.5" long die-cast nickel plated roll shot variety repeating cap gun with full size horse head grips, “Davy Crockett” name in lasso tied to rearing up horse on frame sides. Holster fringe has usual curling, gun grips have lt. aging. Fine/VF overall. Nicely detailed. See previous item dual holster cap gun set boxed variety #2311.
