Pair of c. 1940s Walter Lantz character-related items. First is 3x4x1.5" thick book-shaped tin litho bank w/text on spine including "Andy Panda Series - Vol. 3 - ©Walter Lantz Prod. - Kirchhof - Newark, N.J." Nicely made w/four characters named below their image. Includes - Andy Panda, Oswald Rabbit, Phooey Goose, Li'l Eightball. Original tin trap. Scattered wear w/tiny paint nicks/scratches. Fine. Scarce. Next is 4.5" tall glazed ceramic figure depicting Li'l Eightball, a stereotypical black boy who quickly fell out of favor in the late 1940s due to the politically incorrect nature of the character.
