Item Description
Pair of beautifully painted and glazed ceramic figurines. Underside of each has "Vernon Kilns U.S.A." stamped text along w/1940 Disney copyright. Six different satyrs were produced, see following item #2186. First figurine stands 4.5" tall and has incised number "1" on underside and depicts him w/hands clutched over his heart. .25" base chip on back and tiny hairline under raised elbow but neither is visible when viewed straight on. Still displays Exc. as such. Second figurine stands 4.25" tall and has incised number "4" on underside and depicts him stretching and yawning. Exc. From the Michael J. Stern Collection.
