Item Description
Illustrated box contains 11" long tin litho friction squad car. Marx. ©1949 F.A. Synd. Box has illustrations on all four sides and a sticker on top that states "With Siren." Box has creases at ends, w/2" tear to one end flap and several small staple tears to other end flap. Still displays Fine. This is two-tone lt. and dark blue color variety car. Windows show Dick Tracy, Chief Brandon, Pat Patton and Sam Catchem seated in car. Doors have Tracy image and name in shield shape. Text on body includes "Dick Tracy, Tracy - Police Dept. - Squad Car No. 1." Plastic light/siren on top has yellow plastic socket and battery-operated light bulb that no longer lights. Friction and siren functions do work. Toy has lt. trace of wear but retains glossy bright colors. Exc.
