Original illustrated cardboard Chein box w/"Playland Whip" name and image contains nicely designed tin litho toy w/10.75x20" base and height of 4" to top of the center unit. J. Chein & Co. 1950s. Amusement ride toy has simulated track w/four attached bumper cars, each w/rider's head as a separate, spring-mounted piece. Center unit has built-in key and is nicely illustrated, depicting amusement park activities w/children. Toy works and at short intervals the cars are whipped around the track as riders' heads bob. Box shows little wear and is complete w/original cardboard inserts. VF. Toy is Exc. Old store stock. Classic toy and as nice as they come.
