Scarcer late 1950s issue. ©KFS. 9x11x3.25" deep window box contains Large (12-14) size costume #225. Lid has die-cut pumpkin window w/original cellophane affixed and intact. Lid has lt. corner tip wear and original store price sticker. Label w/costume number and size has "The Phantom" name and image. Exc. Thin vacuform plastic mask has "The Phantom ©K.F.S. Inc." ink stamp on inside and has some lt. aging. VF. Costume has obvious and heavy scattered staining, mainly on arms and one leg and separate cloth cowl. Cowl has 2" tear and back seam split has been re-stitched. Good/VG. Costume is all blue w/"The Phantom" name and costume design w/gold glitter accents. This costume was issued in three different colors/styles. In previous auctions, we've offered both the purple and black variations. This blue variety features a very different costume design from those other costumes as well as later versions.
