Item Description
Set of 20 numbered issues each 11.25x15". Each is full color four-page premium newspaper issued by Standard Oil Co. of California. © 1939. Each features cartoons, puzzles, games. Back cover of issues #1 and #2 feature example images of cut-out pictures as well as the Treasure Island premium map (see item #1772). Issues #3 through #20 each have two individually numbered cut-outs that were to be mounted on the map. All have very slight margin aging. Several have very faint horizontal fold line. Overall set remains VF. Rarely found as a complete set. From the Hake Collection.
