Item Description
Six items. 11.25x19.25” high quality gold accent wood frame has archival mat w/two openings. Top opening is 5.75x8.5” w/typewritten letter dated March 6, 1961 thanking recipient for “Your Very Sympathetic Letter. It Was Wonderful To Hear From You- And From So Many Others Who Wished Me So Well”. Signed in ball point pen “Marilyn Monroe”. Bottom opening contains matching envelope w/typed address of recipient. Both have embossed “Marilyn Monroe” name. Each has lt. aging. VG/Fine, but displays great as professionally matted and framed. Comes w/matching unused and embossed sheet of stationery and envelope. NM. Last two items are two different unused “Marilyn Monroe” checks. One is 3x8.25” from City National Bank Beverly Hills, California ; the other is 2.75x6.25” from Irving Trust New York. NM. Interesting group from late in Marilyn’s life. Her last completed film was “The Misfits” w/Clark Gable, released Feb.1, 1961.
