Item Description
5.5" tall figural painted and glazed ceramic mug depicts famous Academy Award-winning actress' head as mug. c. 1940s. The handle is figure reminiscent of famous Oscar statuette as it is painted in a brilliant gold luster. Crawford's likeness is caricature and prominently features her large doe-like eyes. Bottom is stamped "Hollywood Mugs" by Barclay. Text also includes "Hand Decorated" as paint scheme differs slightly other examples of this mug (see following item #1620). Exc. Extremely well-designed.
