Lot of three from same series as previous item #1619. Mugs depict funny man Bob Hope's head as a mug w/handle being a golf putter which Hope was rarely seen w/o. Hope's likeness is caricature and prominently features his ski-slope note and his large chin that makes up the base of the mug. We have offered different varieties of this mug in the past. Offered here are three different color schemes. First features Hope w/fleshtone face and putter has silver luster handle and four gold luster rivets in putter head. Next features slightly paler face w/rosy cheeks and less fancy paint job on putter. Last is not fully painted, w/skin areas having faint fleshtone, all other areas left white and then glazed over as produced; this one is not marked. Aside from scattered area of pinpoint age spots over eye of unpainted example, all are Exc. Unpainted is VF.
