Item Description
This rare lot of items is c. 1935 by the Kilgore Manufacturing Co. The Bubble Buster gun is 8" long and comes in its original box. Box has scattered wear/aging but remains complete and Fine. The metal gun has barrel covered by paper label, end cap has Mickey decal on one side. The cap was to be removed and one of the .75" diameter rubber Bubblets was to be attached. When handle was pumped, it in turn caused the Bubblet to expand and pop. Paper label has scattered trace of spotting caused by the adhesive reverse. Mickey decal has .25" flake on body. Fine. Comes with three Bubblets boxes, each 2.25x3.5x.75" deep. Each originally contained a thin rubber sheet with 48 Bubblets. Two of these boxes still contain the original sheets although they have hardened and adhered to the interior and cannot be removed. However, the third box comes with a complete and intact 3x9" Bubblets sheet. This includes printed design of Mickey holding the gun along with images of Minnie and Pluto and text reading "48 Bubble Buster Bubblets." This sheet does have scattered age spotting and top left corner a bit bent but this is the only example we have ever seen and quite remarkable to have survived over the years. The three individual boxes have scattered trace of aging. Overall entire lot Fine.
