Original cardboard box w/illustrated lid contains 7.5" long tin litho firetruck by Kokyo, Japan. 1950s. General light box wear w/.5" puncture to box bottom side panel. Lid has two corner splits. Fine/VF. Toy has crank action on back and has beautiful detailing including ladder that moves and extends to 6.25" long as well as lithography showing lengths of fire hose. Has fully dimensional driver and four other firemen who ride on sides. Just a few tiny paint nicks. Rubber treads on back tires have hardened w/age but are intact. Glossy and bright. Friction works.
