Item Description
5x7x9.25" tall. No Disney markings or company name but mid-1930s. Front has 4" diameter opening with pressed wood attachment depicting the Three Pigs, behind this is the fabric speaker cover. Two pigs play fife and fiddle while third pig dances. Fifer pig leans against a tree. This design has two dots of glue repair on tree branch and a tiny sliver off top of fence rail. Missing one die-cut pig accent from each side of case. Missing the cardboard cover on the back of the unit. Has original speaker fabric intact. Front center is missing a metal flake, probably with station numbers from around the top dial. Rear mechanism lights and with antenna wire extended is capable of receiving very strong stations, although no guarantee as to clarity or volume. First we've seen and there are only about 3 known in the radio collecting hobby. We are told a complete working example has sold in the $8,000 range. The entire case and front design displays clean and VF.
