c. 1910 German made for British market. 4.5x10-3/8x5/8” deep box has superb lid graphics of two drivers in open air cars on dusty race course. Lid has edge wear. VG, but displays Fine w/bright color. Inside lid has instructions. Playing surface is applied to box bottom. Missing dice and three of four cast metal car playing pieces. Inside VF, car VF. Opened in 1907, Brookland’s near Waybridge in Surrey was the world’s first purpose-built motor sport venue and also used as aerodrome. Great design.
