©1921. Made by Parker Brothers. 10x19.5” lid panel w/applied label has superb litho art of Dorothy holding Tin Man’s hand w/Scarecrow sitting on back of Cowardly Lion fixing hair bow. Tin Woodman’s castle and haunted trees are in background. Side of lid panels and entire box bottom are missing. Label has some dust soil but remains bright and Fine. 19x19” highly detailed game board has all main characters including Toto. The Wizard is at Emerald City center. Other characters include Wicked Witch Of The East, Glinda, Professor Wogglebug H.M.T.E., Glass Cat, Pink Kitten, Patchwork Girl, Jack Pumpkinhead, Rinkitink, Dr. Pipt. Remarkably detailed pewter playing pieces include Dorothy, Scarecrow, Tin Man, and Cowardly Lion. These playing pieces were only made for a short time and replaced w/wood pieces through the rest of the game's production. Game comes w/six small wood dice, each w/single letters on sides which would spell out “WIZARD” if thrown correctly. Board and pieces are Exc. Great concept and design. q
