Item Description
First is 5.75" thin silvered metal opener with 7/8" celluloid insert on each side of the handle end. Celluloid shows crescent moon surrounding a crouching figure in red, wearing peculiar horned hat, and using a sprayer to blast a cloud of the product against the left side of the planet Earth while on the right side a yellow design represents insects and germs being blown into space. Additional accents of planets and moons. Text reads "The Worrell Mfg. Co./Insects And Germs Are Leaving This Earth/Our Territory Is The World/Insecticides And Disinfectants/Sedalia, Mo. U.S.A." Extremely tiny bend on the metal loop above the celluloid but overall NM. We've seen just three in five decades. Next item is die-cut celluloid designed like a tornado with the upper area showing crashing and breaking buildings and a church with tiny images of fleeing people. This side reads "The Tale Of The Tornado." Other side has extensive text noting that "Minutes-Seconds-And The Work Of A Lifetime Is Dashed To A Ruin..." Larger text names an insurance dealer in Kent, Ohio with the slogan "Why Not Phone Us Today And Avoid Regrets Tomorrow." Another piece we've seen just twice in five decades. This one is NM displaying Mint.
