Item Description
These 59 buttons entirely fill a 12x16" riker mount. Vast majority from the 1940s and 1950s. There are 20 buttons in the 1.25" size. One has a small celluloid split on the back but the other 19 pieces are clean and Exc. to Mint. Breakdown of these are: Four with no location plus one duplicate, Pennsylvania 2, California 4 plus 1 dupe, Washington 1, New York 1, Utah 1. There are also four buttons 1.75" with a knife, gun or harmonica suspended. Tiny age on the third from the right. Next are those in the 1.75" size. There are 27 different plus 8 duplicates. Six of these have some age spotting. There are four with no location and two duplicates, Alabama 1, Arizona 1 plus 1 dupe, California 4, Iowa 1, Illinois 1 plus 1 dupe, Massachusetts 1, Michigan 1 plus 1 dupe, Minnesota 1, Missouri 1, New Jersey 1, Oregon 2 plus 1 dupe, Pennsylvania 3 plus 2 dupe, Utah 1, Washington 1, Wisconsin 1, one reading "County" fair, and one reading "State" fair. A lifetime collection and a rather amazing assemblage of similar yet different buttons from all over America.
