Item Description
Lot of five ceramic pieces, all 1940s. First is pair of glazed ceramic planters, both by Modern Ceramic Products of Sydney, Australia. Bambi planter w/legs over log measures 5x6.5x6" tall and Flower planter measures 4x6x6" tall. Bambi is unmarked, though Flower planter does have MCP incised mark on underside. Flower planter was designed for either table top or wall use, and has pair of holes on back provided for wall hanging if so desired. This planter is scarce. Both are Exc. Next are two ceramic pieces from a four-piece dinnerware set. Includes 6" tall pitcher and 7.5" dia. plate. Characters featured vary from piece to piece but include Bambi, Thumper, Flower and Friend Owl. Both are Exc. Last piece is 5x7x5.75" tall glazed ceramic planter by Leeds China Co. Two pinpoint nicks to Bambi's ear but o/w Exc.
