Item Description
Each is 1.25". Three show James Fitzmaurice and one shows him along with his flying companions Von Huenefeld and Koehl with slogan "Welcome Trans Atlantic Heroes." As issued, none have back paper. All are Exc. and display Mint. In 1927, ten unsuccessful East to West flights were attempted with seven lives lost before this trio was successful in April, 1928. Comes with Hake's COA.
