Item Description
1" enamel on brass with threaded cap on reverse. Text reads "Baltimore Colts/58/59/World Champions." The 1958 date is included on this piece as they won the NFL Championship defeating New York in a game widely known as "The Greatest Game Ever Played." The 1959 date on this references their second game and victory in a row over the New York Giants. Badge is Mint and in its original "L.G. Balfour Co." plastic case complete with velvet on cardboard insert. Case lid has .5" and 1.5" hairline fractures but the badge itself is Mint. See next related item. Rare.
