Item Description
First is 1.5" white metal but with loop joined to an embossed brass shield hanger pin. Front shows Columbus while reverse shows three Exposition buildings with dedication date of October 21, 1892. Second is 1.5" brass showing "U.S. Govt Building." Other side includes text "United States Mint Exhibit/Treasury Department." Third is 1.5" aluminum showing Columbus in hat on the front while the reverse states "This Medal Is Made Of The New Metal/Aluminum" with additional text promoting its properties. Last is 1-3/8" aluminum with small rim hole as made. This piece again promotes the virtues of aluminum and other side has extensive text promoting the Jacksonville Illinois Railroad Line. There is no direct reference to the World's Fair. A little luster off the brass piece but all items are Exc.
