Item Description
Sizes are 7/8" to 1.5". The gorgeous color pair picturing Edward VII and Alexandra we've seen before although they are scarce. All the others would qualify as rare. Group begins with 7/8" we've not seen before reading "Victoria, Queen Of England." This has reverse back paper by W&H used only 1896-1898. Cello is just a hair concave but otherwise Mint. Next is rare 1.25" size for her "Diamond Jubilee" dated for 1897 and with back paper by Philadelphia branch of W&H. Tiny touch of age on the cream background but excellent full color. Next is one we've seen just once before picturing Victoria and reading "The Empire's Tribute To Queen & Defenders National Bazaar May 24 1900/Empress Rooms Kensington." Couple of faint pinpoint age marks on extreme bottom edge. Next is rare 1.5" real photo of Edward VII. This is followed by rare real photo of "Queen Alexandra." Skipping to row three we have a 1910 Edward VII memorial button with slogan "An Empire Mourns." This is followed by a pair of Canadian issues each picturing the "Prince Of Wales." One reads "Montreal 1919" and the other simply reads "Welcome" plus his title. An outstanding group displaying Mint except as noted.
