Item Description
1.75” with W&H back paper. Image shows apparent uniformed fireman wearing helmet and holding a long shaft with a flaming torch. The area he is stepping on does not have a great deal of detail but there are additional flame designs portrayed around his legs. Given the title, perhaps this relates to the Spanish-American War victory as Spain signed the armistice August 12, 1898. Text on this button reads “Official Souvenir/Festival Of Fire And Victory Jubilee./Exposition Building./Minneapolis, Sept. 5-10, ’98.” Second we've seen. Rare and NM displaying Mint.
