Item Description
10" one-sided 33-1/3 RPM record featuring six different "Radio Spot Announcements" for the 1966 20th Century-Fox film that was inspired by the tremendous success of the ABC television show. The spots feature specially done recordings w/the actors from the movie in character using typical jargon and banter to entice you to the movie theater. The first spot is one minute w/Batman & Robin (West/Ward), followed by 30 second spots for each of the film's villians: Riddler/Gorshin, Joker/Romero, Penguin/Meredith, Catwoman/Meriwether. Final spot is 20 seconds w/Batman & Robin. In the bkg. throughout each spot the Batman theme song can be heard. Spots are banded so you could pick which one you wanted to run. Moderate surface wear but record has been tested and plays without issue. All is clear and distinct. VG+ record grade. Rare and first we've offered.
