Auction #208 - Part II
Item numbers 1278 through 3040 in auction 208
Value Code:
G - $100 to $200 Help Icon
Item Description
1.25” with text “What Did The Woggle Bug Say?” Button was issued in 1904 to promote Frank Baum’s newspaper comic page “Queer Visitors From The Marvelous Land Of Oz.” Reverse is covered in metal rather than the variety being open with a Keystone Badge of Reading, Pa. backpaper. The curl reads “Photo Jewelry Mfg. Co. Chicago.” Celluloid has shallow dent at bottom center but displays Mint. Scarce and a particularly rare variety of the design. See Oz related pocket mirror #1415.
