Item Description
First is silver plastic base with paper label on top showing Fess Parker as "Davy Crockett." Very slight loss of paper from the upper edge and tiny speck off lower left corner. Vast majority remains. Brown speck at right edge is now largely removed. Second is solid band silver over plastic ring with the name "Davy Crockett" on the bottom of the band and with the top forming a very high relief of his head with coon skin cap in place. Small bit of dark green color within the deeply recessed area of his nose and eye on the right side. Also interior surface has a little bit of silver flaking from the inner top surface. Piece still displays very well and is quite a scarce ring. Last is a mid-1950s premium consisting of a coiled spring steel expansion band which has been stretched a little bit on one side but remains firmly connected to the white metal ring top. Text appears on two sides "Walt Disney's Davy Crockett" while on the opposite sides are tiny images of a powderhorn and rifle. Small loss of silver flashing from the ring top. Inset compass is working.
