Beautifully detailed 1-5/8x2" wide replica of a suitcase with the raised handle forming the slot for a leather strap (not included). Reverse of the piece is stamped with the word "Sterling" next to a makers mark which could be "W Co" or "W E Co." Hand engraved on the blank front panel of the suitcase is the inscription quoted in our title. Small bit of tarnish around the edges and around the letter "S" of "U.S.A." The piece is obviously from the 1940s decade and our best guess is that an early Superman fan had this piece created for himself. Likely unique. Exc.
