Item Description
This ring has a single piece thin band with much thicker and heavier rectangular top. Centered within a rectangular edge is an extremely high relief skull with large emerald green faceted eyes. What we know of this ring comes from the Overstreet Toy Ring Price Guide, 3rd Edition, page 278. The ring is pictured in the book in a generic case not included with this ring. The ring was issued in 1996 by Channel E Entertainment as the 'Slam Evil' Ring. The ring is done in sterling silver and the underside notes "1 of 100" but Overstreet states only 20 produced. He also states that the first ring of the 20 produced has emerald eyes and "The Rest Are Red." The eyes on this ring are indeed emerald colored. The exact wording on the underside of the ring top, in incised lettering, reads "Custom Made/Limited Edition/1 Of 100 (followed by a small mark which is perhaps a copyright symbol but not very distinct)/Sterling." Overstreet noted the ring is "Rare" and gave it a $500-750 value in his 1997 guide. Only example we have seen and in essentially Mint as made condition. We do not guarantee this is the first ring of only 20 made, although that seems extremely likely, but we do confirm its rarity.
