Item Description
3-3/8x3-5/8" with phrase across the card top "Hogie-Yogie-Ya-Nah-Hey" above large photo of Traynor Ora Halftown, a 100% Seneca Indian, in native dress and wearing huge feathered bonnet. Halftown began his legendary Philadelphia Channel 6 broadcast a few days after Labor Day, 1950. He retired in 1999 having spent a half century on WFIL-TV that later became WPVI. It was the longest running local TV children's show in the world. He had been hired for a six-week stint. The show began as a medium for broadcasting cartoons but he quickly became the star. Card has penciled name of member "Anne Marie" with just a couple of tan dots scattered around her penciled name. Back of the card has welcoming text along with advertising for Armour Star Franks. Card is from the 1950s and is in overall VF condition. Rare.
