Extremely high quality 27x40x.25" thick translucent lenticular plastic one-sheet movie poster was issued by Touchstone/Disney for the original 1993 release of the stop-motion musical fantasy horror film produced/co-written by Tim Burton and directed by Henry Selick. The film told the story of Jack Skellington, a being from "Halloween Town" who opens a portal to "Christmas Town" and decides to celebrate the holiday. This 3D advance poster is made out of photographic material laminated onto thick and sturdy plexiglass, creating what is known as a barrier strip image. This poster was displayed at very select theaters, being lit by lightbox displays, giving it wonderful 3D effect that really catches the eye. Poster had an extremely limited production w/few made and as such they are rarely offered for sale. NM and comes w/original cardboard shipping box.
