Item Description
High quality Medium size satin and fleece jacket produced by Stormin' Normin. Sold exclusively in Macy's and Bloomingdale's department stores in New York City. Back of jacket features large embroidered logo for "It's Only Rock 'N' Roll" which was designed by legendary 1960s psychedelic concert poster artist Rick Griffin (best known for his "Flying Eyeball" design for Jimi Hendrix and The Grateful Dead's "Aoxomoxoa" poster design) for $300 and a joint! Griffin designed the logo for the noted Greenwich Village rock & roll/entertainment memorabilia store that operated 1981-1991. Jacket is Exc. Long out of production. A great piece for this legendary New York City store and something special for the Rick Griffin collector.
