Complete set of 24 issued in 1938 by International Chewing Gum Co. ACC# R44. Each is 2.5x3" w/graphic full color art fronts and text backs. The popularity of the rival "Overseas Atrocities" card series, Horrors Of War, overshadowed this competing set which sold poorly and results in its rarity today. In fact, it was the only foray into the gum card market for International. Condition varies greatly. (4) cards have just the slightest margin wear and are clean and Exc. Others exhibit wear akin to their grades and are: VG/Exc. (4), VG (4), Good (8), just Fair to Poor (4). Despite degree of wear, art remains bold and strong. A desirable card set based on its imagery and rarity.
