1.25x1.5" gold luster case Bulova watch w/matching metal expansion band. Limited production and issued as presentation piece to winning team. The National Invitation Tournament (NIT) is a men's college basketball tournament operated by the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA). The 1967 Finals took place at Madison Square Garden in New York City and saw Southern Illinois capture their first title against Marquette 71-56. The game's MVP was future New York Knicks legend and Basketball HOF member Walt Frazier. Watch dial features "NIT 1967" text and small basketball image w/"MIBA" letters for the Metropolitan Intercollegiate Basketball Committee. Watch has 7/16" scratch on crystal but is running and Exc.
