Original illustrated cardboard box contains 6.25" long painted die-cast plane w/plastic canopy and 8.75" wingspan. #467. Early 1950s. Box shows plane leaving aircraft carrier w/guns blazing. This is repeated on all sides. Box lists features that include folding wings, retractable landing gear and movable propeller. Box is lightly aged and shows some handling wear w/scattered creases and a .75" tear from one corner. Fine. Toy is the classic Hubley plane of the 1950, planes used on airfraft carriers of the period. Toy comes still attached to original cardboard insert and is has some tiny paint chips to wing tips where they touch when wings are folded for storage but is o/w NM old store stock.
