Item Description
Large 22x28" cardboard Globe (Philadelphia) poster for April 27, 1941 burlesque performance at the Gayety Burlesk theater in Baltimore, MD. Rose is credited as "That Sensational Dance Thrill Rose La Rose." During the early 1940s she toured in a burlesque show called "T.N.T. Of Teasers." Rose was one of the few performers of the Golden Age of Burlesque to perform topless. Poster features a great picture of her wearing only heels, discreetly posed w/a sheet draped over her. Poster has some scattered handling wear w/creases, but this is not that noticeable as poster has had some professional restoration, giving poster a VF appearance. Scarce.
