Pair of 4.5" tall painted composition pencil holders from the 1930s. Dixon produced two Mickey Mouse holders and both are offered here. First is fully dimensional variety marked on the reverse "No. 1265." Comes complete w/unused pencil w/silver "Dixon - Mickey Mouse - ©Walt Disney" text. Pencil holder shows wear w/a few small chips off tops of Mickey's ears and his nose is broken off and has been touched up w/black paint so not that noticeable. Displays Fine. Next is three-dimensional figure w/flat reverse. The back of this one has raised text including Disney copyright and "Dixon 2925." Mickey is looking right and designed to hold a pencil which rests in his out-stretched hand and in the recessed area on the top of one shoe. Couple of tiny scattered dots of black paint off of Mickey's top ear and pinpoint flake off hand but extremely minor and condition is VF overall. Comes w/green w/similar text to purple pencil that comes w/first pencil holder. Pencil is unused and NM.
