Item Description
5.5" tall (to tip of wick) lamp w/hand-painted pink milk glass base and original brass burner. Issued for the 1901 Pan-American Exposition which took place in Buffalo, NY. from May 1 through Nov. 2, 1901. Lamp base features the classic logo of the expo, showing women emerging from North and South America and clasping hands. Text around images reads "Pan-American Exposition 1901, Buffalo, N.Y." This text was printed and has poor transfer at some points (namely "American"), resulting in some legibility issues. Glass chimney is likely a replacement. Fine overall.
