Item Description
2.75x15.5x8" tall tin litho toy depicts donkey at center w/well-dressed white handler at right and politically incorrect, stereotypical black man behind donkey. When target on donkey is hit, its back legs kick, sending jointed black man flying. Produced by Ferdinad Strauss c. 1910. Spring-loaded action w/nice tin lithography on painted tin base. Scattered wear to base and moving areas of figures. Fine overall. Scarce Black Americana toy.
