Item Description
Six bumper strips are 9" to 14" long. Aging on the edges of "April" example. Two flower stickers are 4" and 8" in dia. Next are "Vote For McCarthy" NYC 3x5" card, a 3.5x6" contributor's envelope and an Oregon contribution form 2.75x10.5". Next are three brochures, the first from NYC devoted to civil rights. Many photos 3.75x8.5" and opens to 10.5x17." Second is also civil rights 4.5x8.5" and opens to 8.5x9." Third from D.C. is 4x9" and opens to 4x21.5." Next are six pieces 8.5x11." First is O'Dwyer NYC coattail, folds as issued, next civil rights theme opens to 11x16", next refers to "Israel", next is Oregon "slate", next is NYC stationery, next is to "McCarthy Volunteer" and mentions "The M Day Rally-August 15 At Madison Square Garden." Last are three booklets. First from NYC is "Eugene McCarthy On The Record." 4x8.25" w/28 pages (back cover designed as a mailer). Next is "First Things First" 5.25x7.5" w/48 pages. This is "First Printing May 1968." Slight moisture marks on front cover on close inspection. Pages tanned. Last is "Cartoons For McCarthy." 7.75x10.75" w/24 pages. This is from August 1968 and states "Published By The Cartoonists For McCarthy Committee Chairman Jules Feiffer." Text explains most art was given to raise funds. Artists include Edward Sorel, Koren, W. Miller, D. Levin, Robert Grassman, Feiffer, Walt Kelly, Mauldin, Chwast and more. Light tanning. A great McCarthy publication.
