Painted wood playing pieces, 30 cardboard cards, gold foil-covered cardboard "coins" and spinner feature same design as Milton Bradley game issued after the release of Disney's "Pinocchio" in 1940. Box lid has great illustration of traditional Pinocchio story and is earlier version w/instruction sheet that includes the European version of the story. Box lid shows scattered corner tip/edge wear w/one lid corner split, but lid retains bright colors and displays VF. 18.25x18.5" gameboard has some scattered age spotting and inked name, but is o/w Exc. Illustrated box inserts are aged but VF. Contents are Exc.
