Item Description
27.5x36.5" glossy original printing poster designed by Jamie Reid for Virgin Records. Poster was used to promote release of Sid Vicious's "C'Mon Everybody" single, which was a cover of Eddie Cochran's 1958 song of the same name. Poster features a photo of Vicious eating a hot dog w/mustard smeared on his face. The photo was taken by prominent rock photographer Bob Gruen in New York in 1978. In addition to Vicious's image, text art bottom reads "C'Mon Everybody - New Single VS272 From The Album - The Great Rock 'N' Roll Swindle - Out Now On Virgin Records VD2510." The album was released Feb. 26, 1979 w/Vicious's single being released June 22, 1979 four months after Vicious died of a heroin overdose. Folded as issued w/lt. handling wear but bright and vibrant.
