2-1/8" with covered metal back that once held a long wire to serve as a bill hook. The wire is gone but through the narrow vertical opening on the reverse a vertical pin has been inserted. On the reverse above the pin is a small rectangular opening were the bill hook was once anchored. From the front the piece displays as a gorgeous celluloid button. Man in white work apron and hat holds a ham in one hand and a slab of bacon in the other while in the background are three pigs and a corn field all surrounded within their logo red heart. Text on apron front reads "See That Each Piece Has Our Name Burned In The Skin." Rim text includes their company name and location along with "From The Heart Of Iowa's World Famed Corn Belt." Tiny bit of air under the cello at left but hardly showing and the piece displays NM. See following related item. Only example we've seen.
