Item Description
Nice quality box w/sleeve contains 2.75x5.5" velvet-covered, hinged-lid case which contains coin set issued by the US Mint in 1999 upon the bicentennial of George Washington's death on Dec. 14, 1799. Set includes metal attachment of the US Mint on the outside of the case as well as between the two coins within velvet-covered insert. Coins include uncirculated example of coin bearing Washington's profile on obverse and heraldic eagle on reverse. Set also include proof example, which is same w/the bkg. highly polished. Coins were minted at West Point and are 90% gold, .24 troy oz. Comes with US Mint COA. Mint as issued. From the Robert M. Overstreet Collection and comes with COA.
