Item Description
2.25x7". Sponsored by the National Geographic Society which attained a world's altitude record of 72,395 ft. above sea level on Nov. 11, 1935. Bookmark is cut from the fabric of this balloon. Illustration shows the balloon on front and statistics on the back. Slight browning of the fabric was caused by gasses in the balloon. Very Fine.
