Item Description
First is 3" tall with a pair of long vertical pins behind the ribbon. Mounted on the ribbon is die-cut engine replica. Suspended below is silver toned metal that has rainbow patina. Front has names of designer and sculptor with larger text "Republique Francaise." Reverse shows front view of engine with panel below reading "Aubry Joseph 1930." French text surrounding which translates to "Railway Minister Of Public Transportation." Trace of age on the ribbon but overall Exc. Next is 3.75" tall with blue ribbon joining hanger and bottom fob each marked "Sterling" on the reverse. Top has "American Legion" symbol along with "40/8" both in blue enamel flanked by words "La Societe Des 40 Hommes Et 8 Chevaux." Enamel bars on the ribbon read "Garde Des Prisonnier/Voygeur Militaire." Scene on the suspension shows soldier from back view with front view of man and a mule within a boxcar. Third item includes engine as part of national logo with surrounding text "Winnipeg/Commerce Prudence Industry." Reverse has stamped tiny name of apparent maker "Andrew." Last is a lapel stud 1-3/8" tall in brass finish with tiny enamel dark blue accent and lighter blue enamel around engine. Panel below scene reads "Congres Int. Du Chemin De Fer/XII Session Caire 1933." Reverse has name of maker "L. Kramer & Co./Caire/Alexandrie." Items are NM to Mint except as noted.
