Item Description
5.5x8.5” w/24 pages by George H. Pumphrey. Front cover has two horror comic book panels, contents include six pages in center w/various comic book images including covers to “Tales From The Crypt, Planet, Jungle” and portion of E.C. Crypt Keeper splash page by Jack Davis. Text includes quotes from Frederic Wertham, and Superman justifying violence. Britain set up the Comics Campaign Council in 1953, mainly in response to violence and horror being shown in imported American comics. Covers have light creasing, front cover has owners name in ink at top, spine edge has scattered moisture marks. Missing staples. Just Good, but scarce and historical.
