Item Description
Each is 1.75" and the Dempsey has back paper by Phila. Badge whereas Tunney does not. Done with a red, white & blue theme to tie in with the 150th Anniversary of our Independence celebrated the summer of 1926 in Philadelphia. This fight was a major event drawing over 120,000 people and becoming one of the most famous fights of the 1920s. The Dempsey button has a few faint hairline scratches showing only in reflected light. The Tunney button has a couple of faint white marks scattered on the dark blue outer rim edge as printed. Both buttons display glossy and Mint. Each is a rarity by itself and more so as a pair.
