Item Description
Diplomystus is from an extinct genus of freshwater fish distantly related to modern-day herrings, alewives, and sardines. These Diplomystus specimens came from Cretaceous Period deposits in the Green River region of Southwest Wyoming. First plate measures 6-1/8x7-1/8x.75" deep and contains 6.75" long Diplomystus fossil. Second plate measures 8.25x10-7/8x.5" deep and contains 4.5" long Diplomystus fossil.
